Our daughter's wedding reception was held
at Madeleine's Petit Paris [3 stars, March 2] nearly two years
ago. We were so pleased with the excellent food and service
provided to our guests by Madeleine and Gaspard Caioz on this
special occasion.
At the end of the evening, we were surprised
to learn that 80 percent of our guests had ordered the prime
rib entree, a situation that might have sent any kitchen staff
into a frenzy in making sure ,- that every meal was prepared
without delay. At Madeleine's, however, the service was unbelievably
efficient and each course was delicious.
We especially appreciated the special attention
to detail given to us by Madeleine in making our daughter's
wedding reception so memorable.
